Center for Pain Relief

The Saint Francis Hospital Center for Pain Relief offers an advanced, minimally-invasive treatments to patients for a life free of pain and addictive medications.  Our cutting edge treatment--including spinal cord stimulation (SCS), peripheral nreve stimulation (PNS) and minimally invasive lumbar decompression (MILD)--can improve your function and possibly eliminate the need for addictive medicines. 

Treatments & Procedures
We offer a complete array of interventional pain procedures and rehabilitative treatments for all chronic pain and spinal diseases including the following:

Evaluations

  • Complete medical, surgical, and therapy evaluations by one of our board-certified doctors
  • Musculoskeletal evaluations, disability and future medical need assessments, and impairment ratings
  • Independent medical evaluations
  • Electromyograms (EMG) and nerve conduction studies (NCS) 

Outpatient Procedures

  • Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar discograms
  • X-ray and/or EMG-guided diagnostic and therapeutic injections, including the following:
    • Epidural steroid injections (cervical, thoracic, lumbar, and caudal)
    • Selective nerve root injections (cervical, lumbar, thoracic and sacral)
    • Facet joint and medial branch nerve blocks
    • Sacroiliac and other major joint injections
    • Local anesthetic sympathetic nerve blocks (stellate, lumbar, and celiac)
    • Celiac plexus alcohol ablation
    • Various diagnostic and therapeutic peripheral nerve blocks
